Scythed Chariots

Post by Pikeaddict »

Testing some seleucid lists, I had a dream of Scythed Chariots breaking through the enemy line...and I woke up

Though, one question arose : what would happen to those Scythed chariots if they broke the line, the broken enemy fled and burst through their support and that the pursuing scythed chariots finished the JAP in contact with unbroken enemy because they pursued ?
Would they still be removed from the game or would they be given another incredible chance of breaking the support ?

With the rules as written they would be destroyed. It is an interesting question whether this is appropriate or not. I guess they finally crashed would be the rationalisation of the current rules.

You really need to follow them up with some other troops. (As the Pergamene cavalry successfully followed up the Seleucid scythed chariots bursting through their own men at Magnesia  ).

Something the authors should think about.
