Question about squads

Is it possible to upgrade, lets say an experienced squad of militia into a hastati or a principe? Or do I have to disband them to leave room for better units?

You cannot change the type of squad. As as i know, there is no limits to the numbers of squads you have in reserve. The limitation is only on the battlefield. The biggest army you can place consists of 20 squads but you may very well have 30-40 squads in your army...you just can't place all of it...you have to choose which units are best suited for the battle.

Unfortunately it's not possible to upgrade in GBoR - it is something we're looking at for the future though.

Thanks guys for the answer. Well in that case I will keep my "elite" militia in reserve :wink:
