question about combat results

question about combat results

I've been looking more and more at the combat results and pre results as I'm paying attention more. My 2 star artillery just bombarded a 0 star infantry. The combat result said +1 for experience on such and such. Is this some kind of bug or does terrain or weather or just fireing the artillery have something to do with this. This is on the Lillihammer mission/map btw.

There is a HUGE random factor in combat results... ("Chess" cheat might help)

Try the search function. There are quite a few threads about the subject.
