Can mounted troops on a flank march arrive dismounted (if those troops are allowed to dismount in the army list).

Page 147. A battle group of mounted troops (that is permitted to dismount) can only dismount at the following times:
- when it is first deployed on table etc

As an arriving flank march is the first time a flank marching BG (that is permitted to dismount) is first deployed on table, ipso facto it can arrive dismounted.

Interesting. I don't have the -1 for MF or HF for the arrival test or the straggling test but I can dismount on arrival and have MF/HF. I've paid the points for the mounted so why not.

Good spot. Suits my Early Medieval Germans! I place the cavalry figures on the table when the flank march arrives, then I dismount them as HF. Nice!
