Cavalry Light Lance vs Horse Light Lance

Hi Paddy and I were just sorting out our lists for rollcall

his army happened to have superior armoured horse light lance swordsmen for 13 pts per base, whereas mine had superior armoured cavalry light lance swordsmen but at 15 pts a base, so I thought I must have some advantages but no I have more disadvantages -1 vs firearms and can't evade because I am shock troops as I have light lance, I am just checking that I have got that right or am I missing any hidden advantages of cavalry light lance, if there are I'd be grateful to know as it is possible most of the army will be equiped with them

It was actually designed specifically to disadvantage you knowing that you would take the Cav anyway...

it gets cancelled out by Lance other than that it is the same as lance as far as POA's go
