Possible to fix the frozen state on the map? (SOLVED)

Post by Uhu »

Hello, is it possible to fix the frozen state in winter maps?
OK, I can set the moisture to 5, so the scn will start in frozen conditions. But how can I avoid, that in the next turn (or in any turn, later), a clear day, with clear ground come? It is also not very realistic... Maybe, when I set the weather to for example 50% clouds, 50% snow, there will no clear ground come, but it is also not the best solution, because, than, there will be no clear days too.

Hmm, maybe I found the cure: I looked the DLC'39, Norway scenarios, which plays in snow, and there are set the moisture to 90 (!). When I set this value, the editor colored it red, as it would be an error, but the validate showed it not an error, so maybe it will work in that way, as I think. :)

Editor > Scenario Parameters > Actions

> Add Weather Action > Pop Up Window > scroll down > set 100% snow

> Edit Trigger > Add Time condition > set turn between x and x you want it to snow and you good to go

with the options of adding weather conditions you have 100% control over the weather and you can script the weather all thru a scenario if you want to

Thank you for the suggestion, although, with this one you still cannot create frozen land with clear weather. And I don't want to fix the weather too. But this "Moisture=90" setting seems to be working.

Hmm, that's also an interesting condition, but no I thought only on frozen land, but without snowing, or clouds - so for example the aircraft can fight with full capacity.
