It would be if Max was going to be on the offensive. But his reserves will rise rapidly while he's on defense. His smaller offensives in Africa won't drain his supplies too much. I don't think he's very concerned about oil at this point, otherwise he wouldn't have marched into Russia at all.

I agree with Joe. 360 in oil in fall of 1942 and given how much Max has accomplished is outstanding. Max is an outstanding player and I believe he will manage quite well with that much oil.

Wow...very impressive. :o

This is why you don't "nibble" against a player like supermax. You don't try several offensives at the same time, none of which are very strong. Because if he senses weakness, he will hurt you. And he will take advantage of a lucky break with the weather if you're not prepared for it. It's tough, but you have to be patient and wait until you're strong enough to deal with his counteroffensives.

And I guess he's not worried about his oil! :)

Oil will not be a problem exactly as outlined by Ronnie.

Other than that, yes, i am just awaiting such an opportinity on the map like the one served by the weather gods and diplos reckless counter-attack.

My goal is to dodge the winter 42-43 offensive. Its better to loose some now than wait for the russian to slowly drain me.

Your northern line is surprisingly weak, but besides that, your defences look solid. I doubt that the Allies will be able to do much in 1943. They don't have many options, because you can rail units anywhere in Europe quite easily and Morocco is heavily defended.

Nice counterstrike in Egypt. If the Allies have been soundly trounced and remain with little more than what is on the screen, maybe even prospects for pushing into Iraq?

Also, mystifying move by the Allies to simply blindly walk into the envelopement in Morocco...

Max,

Your text boxes on the right side of the screen are getting cut off. Shame to lose your thoughts on yet another brilliant campaign.

Well, yes and know since the allies would have an eternity of sending more troops with the Atlantic access, thus rendering the whole project very costly for oil...

Nope, using a laptop, but not an Apple. My Apple user friends tell me that leads to all kinds of terrible things, but I ignore them

I had the same problem on my laptop. I fixed it by enabling the "Fit to width" option in Opera.
