There is now as a separate posting on this list. Also I have edited the lead post to include list submission information and deadlines.

Matt, you should probably add the link to the information post as well.

Gino does not actually read the GCC newsletter or the forums. He just posts alot to see what his next avatar will be.

And I really want our ancient avatars back as well. Haven't you guys promoted your WWII game enough by now?

I had a question concerning the 2012 US OPEN . I was thinking of bringing my 2 sons ( 13 + 16 ) over to observe as spectators. Is there a charge to just observe ? Are there going to be any vendors/stores set up? Thanks

Matt will comment when he gets time i think he is travelling. But i would be the answers are no or nearly no.

Meaning no charge and problaby nearly no vendors.

Matt is back so may make a more authoritative answer, but there would be no charge as far as I know. I think Jacob Kovel will have stuff to sell on the side but do not know of any other vendors that will be present. Again, Matt would be able to give an authoritative answer. I'm just the designated referee ;-).

Silver Eagle Wargames (with Museum Miniatures and terrain) and The Baggage Train (with cases and carrying trays) will have dealer's tables there. No problem bringing anyone you like to observe.

Update after round 1

Ruddock won his first game, but gave up too many points to Walt. He and I play tomorrow morning. I have announced that my strategy will be to poach one or two of his BGs, then take a four hour dump.

Update after round 2

Ruddock will be forced to commit ritual suicide when he returns to Manchester.

Hahhahhahhahhah!

Well the joy Dave must have had versus Walt, then to be defeated by Marc.

Look out DBMM Dave could be switching rules.

Or is this Dave's submarine strategy?

I decided not to bother, and just flogged Dave instead.

How about some specifics rather than just the cryptic comments. Details, boy, details!
