Movement Restricting Fire Results

Post by MkV »

If the Active Player gives the inactive player a "CMT to Advance" or "May not Advance" result from fire, how long do those stay in effect?

1. They come off at the next (active players) recovery phase. (which is essentially a no effect)
2. They come off at the inactive players next recovery phase. (on the following turn when they are the active player, having suffered the effects during the movement phase)
3. The "CMT to Advance" does not come off until the unit passes a CMT, however many turns that takes.

or something else.

Thanks,

MkV

See p.69 under the heading Halted. "This only lasts for the duration of the movement phase following"

Also p.55 "A result of "may not advance" has no effect on the non- active player."

We ran into that one too, having the non active player halted in his turn. Got to be quite confusing and we didn't even need to do it, learning curve.
