will AL be a tbs or an rts? i think i saw somewhere that it would be an rts but i find it stange that Slitherine's other games are turn based.

Legion Arena is the model in which Arcane Legions is based and it's real time-like, no turns.... I would say is more Football Manager like, because you can't control your units in battle, you tell them what to do before the battle and hace full control over the recruit and training, but not in the heat of the fight....i don't know what's the term for it, actually.

We're moving more towards the TBS style of gameplay for the future but still elements of RTS.

tbs & rts! excellent! glad to hear it. thanks for the responses. any idea when the "new and improved" version of AL will be officially announced? can't wait to find out more about it!
