British and Welsh Kingdoms

I have been painting the Gripping Beast figures for the above for some time and have decided to base them for FOG but do not want to risk re basing in the future. Any definite info as to whether these will be heavy or medium foot?

None as yet. What era did you have in mind?

Looking at the Age of Arthur period i.e. just after the Romans withdrew and the Saxons arrived. Does the welsh list go this far back?

The only completed Welsh list is for the revolt of Owain Glyndwr. It is more like an English Marcher army than a dark age Welsh one.

If I had to guess I would say that there is a good chance that the bulk of Welsh infantry will be MF but it has still to be decided.
