Shield and Combat Percentages Display

After experiencing a brief hang-up while playing the Cocherel scenario on FoG l found that once the game had resumed it no longer displayed the shield symbol and percentage vales for the melee outcome , as had always been the case. Instead the screen display showed three coloured columns, presumably indicating the relative chance of success or failure. As l much prefer the previous method, is it possible to restore the shield and percentages ?

Yup, it's a setting in the options.

I have tried altering the Game Preferences, but none of them restore to the original Shield and Percentages, as shown on the How To Charge display in the games manual. Exactly which setting in the options do l need to alter ?

Try hitting the "c" button when you are in-game and it should default back to percentages. Info here should help . . .

You need to experiment with the other buttons listed in that link then. I had the same thing happen and I did manage to clear it but I've forgotten what I did. I do remember that you have to click off and then on to the unit again before it clears. It is not a major problem with your set up - you do not need to re-install or anything. Perhaps there is someone who can be a bit more specific than me out there?

Try hitting the "x" key, then click off your unit and then back on. I think that might work.

Many thanks for your suggestion concerning using the ''x'' key, which has reverted the disply back to the previous format.
