ordering problem: refusing order

Anybody can help me? I decided to buy CEAW (digital download) after reading some reviews. Due to good dollar vs euro course I have an advantage, although I'll pay more then a normally would have paid. So I enter all my info, my credit card info and when submitting it just gives an error: "We are unable to process your order. Please verify your information and try again." I've checked my info like 10 times, retyped it completely a few times, all fields with a * are filled in correct and still it keeps refusing to accept my order. So anybody can help? I'd rather buy it from Slitherine than from matrixgames (haven't tried there system yet). My credit card is a Mastercard so it's supported. Also I wonder why my verification code is not requiered? It's the only site I know that doens't need the verification number of my card to order, for all other sites it's needed. Perhaps that's the problem? Since I'm pretty sure that my verification code is requiered but Slitherine just doens't ask for it, matrixgames however does ask for it and I'm pretty sure that if I buy it there it will work.

Sorry you are having problems. Can you mail info@slitherine.co.uk with your details (not card number) so we can investigate with Digital River.

In the mean time I was able to download the Slitherine version from a website (without any key), and using the game's register options I was able to buy a key so I can play now. It's still strange that it doens't allow an order via the website, but does via the game buying system (which also redirects to the website). On the website I just login to my account and all info is added to the form and it does not work. While logging in via the buying system launched from the game does again add all my info to the form (the same as on the website), but then it does work. Ahwel I can play, but somehow I'm disappointed in the game. Loading the main menu takes like 4 minutes, and loading games also takes some time. Even the enemy moving takes some time, although I have a P4 3GhZ pc and 1 GB of Ram and a 256 MB video card it should be running fine I though, or could it be that it's because of the version I downloaded?

And also, how can I install the game on my laptop, since I can't register it (normally I'm supposed to put it on two pc's I read), it ask's for my register information. Can I find that on my pc somewhere? Or do I get that by mail (in that case I haven't got a mail and it's already been like 19 hours that I bought the game).

Can you tell me where you downloaded it from as it should not be posible to do that and I have no idea how the order sysem deals with it. Let me know your order details and we'll try and track it down. It should not be that slow on your PC.

Downloaded it from some binaries were it was online. Guess somebody upped a version but you can't play without a key anyway. Read it with a program where you can keep track of binaries that is was there and that some peeps downloaded it and registered it via that system. It says it's a slitherine version altough I have my thought about it now since it runs slow. I got my order though from digitalriver but haven't recived any key so far. I just wanted to play it that night and I though, hey it's weekend, and I didn't get an immediat respons I would go it that way. I wonder, if somebody messed with that version, if I'm able to download a correct version then? I know that digital river has an extended download service etc. but that wasn't included in the system when buying through the game.

I'll mail you my order details.

Edit: Never mind about downloading another version, I was able to log in to the findmyorder.com website and there I can press the download button and download the version.

Edit2: heb geprobeerd die gedwonloadde versie op mijn laptop te installeren maar krijg er meteen error dat het maximum aantal keys bereikt is.

Well I uninstalled that version and installed the new I downloaded, when I loaded the game it gave an error that it's already on to much computer however, when I press OK the game continues. I only got this the first time, when I load the game again it starts the game without giving that error. But the version on my laptop doens't work and I haven't recieved a mail with my security key to register it. So it would be nice that I could also play the game on my laptop.

The game however keeps running slowly on my pc and the loading to get to the main menu still is a few minutes waiting. I hoped that it would be better when turning the game into windowed mode but doens't help. The game even restarts again in full view, so I have to check windowed mode every time if I wanted it. Not that its of any use anyway, plus you don't get a title bar zo you can't even move the window. Also in game some labels are white and I get white flickering in the game.

I bought my version here and I have install on desktop and laptop without problem

There is no key to register and i think the game just search for the key ONLINE AUTOMATICALLY the first time you load the game and that is the only time it will to do so .

I am not sure how many times you can install the game and I am wonder what happen if we exceed the numbers of installation

About the game it took about a minute or two to load ..and i thought it is due to my low spec PC P4 1.7 with 512 MB ram )
or could be something else ..??

I hope you will able to run this game as it is really a very good and fun game

My order details were already mailed and my credit card is charged ( 05/08/2007
Tegenpartij : DR *Slitherine 06/08/2007 -57,49 USD -42,40 €). But I just mailed my hardware fingerprint so I don't think this thread is needed anymore.

It's a fun game, to bad it has some problems on my pc. I got it running a bit better when closing everything down except the game and also disabling my 2nd monitor but still, doens't run that smooth as I think it should. Hope it runs better on my laptop. But once you get playing you forget about the sometimes waiting moments

Just to start playing you have to wait minutes :p That part is boring. But hey, I printed out my manual so guess I can read now while waiting :p
