problem with Mac and iPad version multiplayer

I bought Battle Academy for my iPad and I LOVE IT!!! so I decided to buy the Mac version so I could have it on both platforms - especially when I read that one can go back and forth with the same multiplayer game. I had several games in progress and tried one - I got a message that said our maps were not the same and I should quit the game and report it here... Ok... so I did (and unfortunately was deep into a fun battle) and opened my other active game... and got the same message... so I am guessing it is not the maps, nor is something sneaky going on - am guessing there is still some kind of cross platform glitch?

did I mention the iPad version of Battle Academy is GREAT!!!

and one other question - when is Field of Glory coming to iPad? soon I hope

have you updated to the lastest version on iPad? Have youmodified any of your files? The versions are identical unless someone has modified something and these messages are to warn of potential meddling with files. This can be innocent but can also be used as a way to cheat. We recommend you dont continue games where this message occurs but it would be good to know why it has happened.

Can you give more info on the platform you started on, continued on and the platform your opponent is on?
