Requirements on PC

Post by jfabs »

So I thought that I knew my computer pretty well but I have been in situations where I thought my comp. was good enough to run a game, I order it, and I'm wrong, so; I would like to know if my comp. is good enough.

The main thing I am worried about is my processor because I don't know the comparison between Celeron and Pentium

Celeron 2.53GHz
1.5 GB RAM
Radeon 9250 256mb Graphics Card
Windows XP
plenty of hard drive space
and I have already ordered a DVD RW drive
Also is the game Vista compatible as I am thinking about upgrading.

Is this good enough to run Great Battles of Rome with no issue?

It is certainly powerful enough, so unless there is a compatibility issue it will be fine. There have been very few campatibility issues with GBoR.

You PC should run the game just fine, but although the game is Vista compatible I would wait for Microsoft to release service packs, because Vista still has many issues with hundreds of games due to video cards, sound cards, office applications, and drivers being incompatible with different versions of Vista.

The game runs great on XP so stay with this OS to enjoy this great game!
