Actually I was thinking about the Hungarian units

Maybe we could just use other countries and maybe "paint over" the National colors (ie: French Tricolor, British Roundel, American Star,German Balkanfeldzug...etc).

This way at least the units could be used in game and when somebody has the time/skill to add Hungarian colors the skins could just be switched out.

Just a thought...

Yes, I am in contact with Rezaf. He has been a little sick and also very busy in real life. He and I talk about the forum and I have told him that he is a very appreciated and valued member. I think he was a little let down when the head programmer took a retreat. But I still send him projects and he gets them out. He is working on some right now and re-programming a skinning mod. I don't think he is "gone" he is just distracted a while. Very nice guy and very helpful. He is more into modding than playing and I think he likes seeing lots of modding innovations on the forum and a response and reaction on the positive side from the higher ups. Personally I think his skills made a dramatic change in PZC and have told him so. He was the first to provide a MASSIVE amount of skins. Everyone seems to want to credit me, but it was and IS his talent and artistic skill that did it. Not mine.

Has anybody made bicycle infantry? They were essentiaI part of the Hungarian Mobile Corps and I think they took part in this operation as well and I cannot draw good quality bicycles.

I will be away for a day or two as I am travelling, but after I will try to make the artillery units.

As far as I know there's only a bicycle infantry done by the team DMP for Winterkrieg mod.
For use it you would have to ask for authorization.

If it wasn't for Rezaf there would be no SS,Heer SE Total,Elite Units, or SS-GTPG mods, so he is w/o a doubt on of the most influential and valued members of this community. I hope he knows it....

Good job VPaulus!
Now the question is, how to position this unit? What stats gave it the DMP guys?
I made thoughts about it and I would suggest to put it in the cavalry category:
- 3 spotting
- 4 movement
- same attack value, as the inf
- +1 defense, as the normal cav

Other theme:
1., I would give the Hungarian cav at least +1 defense stat, because the Hungarians were legendary horse fighters -> huszár. Maybe not more, because still the cavalry units played not a decisive part in the 2nd ww.
2., I make thougts to create a motorised inf unit type, with better stats (+1 soft attack, maybe better ini), as the common inf. The cause: as I know, there were only few 'Gebirgsjäger' formations and I also not have any informations, that they were better units, than the common inf.
Therefore, another better inf unit needed and I think, the motorised inf of the armored divisions could be an ideal choice: they were better equipped, better motivated, elite formations. But since armored division(s) existed only from 1942, they will avaible from that time.
What are your opinion?

Guys, thanks for the praise and encouragement. Flaks impact was greater than he will admit - he's just a fine and humble guy like that and probably can't help it.
I don't think my contributions were all that important, but I'm not gone for good and have some things up my sleeves still, and of course it's always nice to hear that at least some people out there appreciate the results of hours of work.

I'm slowly but steadily working on improving the skinning app - work and other stuff has me kinda busy at the time being (I haven't played the last DLC, nor the one that came before yet), but it's inevitable that I'll get some more time again sooner or later. I'll try my best to make that as close to sooner as possible.

Augustin, like I wrote above, I'm kinda busy at the time being. Here's something I cooked up on the fast - maybe it'll suffice.

Ju86 has the wrong camo and the wrong roundel for 1939 but I shouldn't complain.

Thanks for the good words on your PM. :)

I have this icon for the ansaldo but I think the icon is too big compare to the other tank icons in the game. The L3 35 tankette should look smaller.
You could modify it. :)

Here are the two Bicycle units:

I'll have also to create the animations for this units. So I might still have to adjust something.
These are just preview. When I've the two animations ready, I'll post a link with the full pack. :)
