Sorry you are having problems. Which version of the game do you have - i.e. what country did you buy it in? What is your OS and harsware specs? Do you have the latest drivers for your graphics and sound card as this is the usual cause of this type of problem?
The movies and speech are separate because the game is available in multiple languages and each language has its own sound track.

Um its obviously nothing to do with my specs dude.. I play the movies before the battles fine..
The problem is the Game engine is running the battle scene while the movie plays after the battle..
do you understand me
The map with whatever troops i have left over is sitting there behind the video..
You cant tell me noone has ever noticed this..

The intro movie is in a different format - Bink player to be precise, but this cannot be played inside the game, so in game we use avi's.
If you tell us your tech specs we'll try and help but if not there is very little we can do! The engine works fine for the many tens of thousands of other people who have played the movies.
Please also check your drivers are up to date.

Sigh
You dont understand still so i will explain one more time..
I am NOT refering to the intro..
I AM refering to the AVI Files That Intro the individual battles which work fine
.. They are the same exact format as those which you see at the end of the battles..
The videos at the end of the battle has a crap framrate because the battle is still behind it..
It has to do with your game not my setup.

Yes I am listening very carefully and understand what you are saying.
This does not happen on other peoples machines, which means it is related to your PC hardware. It is probably a bug with your graphics card drivers, but as you wont tell us what that is or check for driver updates there is very little we can do to help.
Until you post your specs & OS, and which country you bought the game in I'll hold off on replying.

You say you understand but in the post before this one you tell me its the Intro movie in bink format which is totally wrong..
The files that play right are the same kinda files that dont play right..
The ONLY difference between them is that the (In-Game outro video and mp3 dont play at the same rate because the video is lagged by the game engine running in the background.)
I assume since you cant fix this problem your steering me in frustrating directions hoping i wont point out reality anymore..
BTW what the hell would the country its sold in matter.. usa btw..
My comp is a 2.8 Gig celeron d with WinXP, a geforce 6200 (with the latest official drivers from nvidia) and 1 Gig of Ram
Far exeeding the requirements for your game..
Now what smartie pants.

I'm loath to reply when you're being so belligerent, but I'm a little confused.
The battle engine doesn't run behind the movie which are displayed post battle, at that point it flows through a different code path. If you could be more specific (as Iain has already asked) about when and what you see then perhaps we can help.
My guess would be that it might be a vsync problem, movie playback is pretty low-intensity on the 3D pipeline and that is where odd stuttering tends to show up. Check the settings on the nVidia control panel in the video settings. There is usually fine control of how the vsync works.

I can't answer that. All I can tell you is that your guess that the 3D or the model is running behind the movie is entirely wrong.
It could be that the battle moves memory around such that the movie codec behaves differently, or interacts differently with one of the many system DLs that they make use of. As I say, you should check out the vsync settings you have, as a poorly behaved driver at some point could be failing to allow the movie thread to gain enough time.

Really.... lets assume you are telling the truth and you bought it without a box for $4 - you knew it was an illegal copy so you are breaking the law. Having said that I don't believe a word of it because there is no Spanish version! You are lying and have been from the start because you are a pirate and playing a pirated copy that has bugs because the pirates couldn't even crack it properly!

THE HISTORY CHANNEL Great Battles of Rome.
THE HISTORY CHANNEL Great Battles of Rome.

It really really looks like you made that flag.. Its the same "style" as the others..
Mabey you think reselling something is pirating.. hardly..
you know when you ban me and respond both that dont make sense since im suppose to not be able to read what your saying..
