Yes , I can not assure I can win in the current games . so do they . But It seems they have less confidence than Axis , that's why the new changes are discussed at present . So what I want is a pbem with a tester who can launch a my style babarosa to me , I will show them the way to defeat Axis . As borger's words , Maybe you can do the job !
Regarding to our game , it was halted by your request for long time , I almost forgot the situation , It was seems before Babarosa . Quite far to say who will beat whom .

First and foremost, we dont need to change the rules... Please stop changing them because of supposed play imbalance...

So, its not rocket science.

moriss has clearly demonstrated that he cannot be stopped before stalingrad and caucasus.

Given that assumption, player just need to accept this, and plan accordingly.

For example, it can be as simple as planning and organizing a major fall-winter counter attack at the fartest- most limit of german possible advance ( in this case the germans wont be able to do more than stalingrad), as moriss brillliantly demonstrated in earlier games as allies with his rostov- kharkov counter attacks.

One thing is sure, the germans cannot be stopped when they are concentrated, but as they advance on a widening front, opportunities arise... Like when he split his forces to do stalingrad and caucasus. With a serious counter- punch east of stalingrad and out of reach till october- november, the germans wont be able do to a thing against concentrated armor, air and mech russian units.

Ok, so when yo play against someone like Joe Rock or Plaid for example, a counter offensive strategy just wont work, because they are constantly ready for it, in the sense that when they are on the offensive, they do it on a cohesive matter and never advance too far for units to be in danger...

But Moriss is something else. He will just attack and attack and attack until he either wins or get destroyed. For the ones of you that followed my last aar with him can clearly see that with a carefully planned offensive- defensive strategy, you can blunt, and defeat moriss unstoppable hordes.

Its the same play against me. If you are on the defensive as the allies, you will loose.

But during the present AARs , Please read them ( I think they should write it down) , you will find the way of my defense strategy . My plan is agressive ,but not to win or be destroyed . I still remember Manstein's word that : Maybe the best result for the Third Reich is even ! ( he said it after the victory of Kharkiv compaign in 1943 )

Yes, Moriss, if your aim at only holding Berlin, then your strategy is sound. But, still, ive been in games where the Germans were in front of Omsk and their front totally desintegrated in a matter of turns.

Manstein's even was not hold Berlin , but make Germany complete & not be invaded .

The problem is that if the Axis manages to hold various cities deep in Russia until 1943 and withdraw in a cohesive manner, then the Allies may simply lack time to defeat them. All that is required is to hold Berlin or Hamburg until 1945.

correct - the problem is that the Germans just don;t get punished in 41/42 by the Russians (currently with the Morrris blob). You have to give credit to Morris for the a winning strategy.

that said I am not sure its been tested fully, I have only had the one poor attemot in the latest round and a second woould be way closer thats for sure!

and in case people didn't get the implication, thats I think I can give it a good run secound time around and I am not a top player, so I am sure that secound time around the top guys will give it some headaches!
