I've played numerous tablet games, some my friend helped me find that he just insisted I had to like. But empty of substance doesn't make a game appealing, and THAT is why Battle Academy will do well because it is not just a vacuous miserable excuse to kill time.
It's the same as with Commander Europe at War on my Nintendo DS. It was impossible for it to NOT be a great game measured against the usual fare. It was unfortunate that the market place chose to be unreceptive to it in favour of the crap shovelled off on preteens. Maybe it would have done better if it could have been bought as a download. I've never been able to inquire as to whether the PSP release version did any better?
