What about the manual???

Post by duncan »

Having preordered it today in a irresponsible and childish fashion (I never preorder games), I was dreaming about my brand new manual signed by the Slitherine dev team ( ) and a question arised:

What is the manual like/is gonna be like?

1.) One note telling how to install the game in C:\Programs\Slitherine\Legion Arena and some thing about being epileptic
2.) A fat manual with details about the controls, some useful starting tips, a historical bakground, unit info and the good ole thanks page thanking Duncan (oh yes, and the others) all his hard work as a beta tester  .

Let's pray 2.), even if it's not signed  . I like to read my manuals before going to sleep...Spartan's manual was really good (at least, in Spain)

The manual will be 64 pages. The one you get from us will be in English though you can install & play in English, French, German or Italian as well as we use the same CD for all territories. The manual & box will be translated for each territory, but we only carry stock of English.

We'll see what we can do about signiatures. I'm not sure if the logistics allow for it!

Unfortunately signing the manuals has proven to be a bit too much for the logistics. The problem is keeping track of who want's manuals signed & who doesn't. Signed copies can't be returned as they are unpackaged. On top of that, I may not be here when the final stock arrives as I am off on holiday from the 14th. All in all, we'll have to reject this idea for now. Sorry guys. We'd be happy to sign copies if we see you at a show in the future though! Hope you understand.
