Lamest excuse I ever heard for missing a wargame was 'pairing up my odd sock draw...'. Come to think of it that was from a player called Martyn...

(Actually he was on a date with a girl but as she was a Rod Stewart fan he was too embarassed to let on...)

Anybody surprised by Dave R and Dave Es failure at the round - don't be. It was Dave Rs incompetence in filling in the score sheet. They should be where Andy McKay is!
