Different sizes of Kiev (Kyiv) in DLC

Post by flakfernrohr »

I just got my copy of DLC 43 and was looking at the various maps. I am so glad to see "BIG" cities like Stalingrad in DLC 42 and Kiev in DLC 43. But I was sort of amused at the difference in the sizes of Kiev in 42 compared to 43. Must have been a HUGE influx of "illegal" Belarussians during that year. I mean from two or three city hexes to maybe seven or eight or more! :D Same thing with other cities like Kharkiv, etc. But the maps are getting more visually interesting and I extend my thanks for these great DLC packages. You are in my area of preferred combat, The Eastern Front.
Old Timer Panzer General fan. Maybe a Volksturm soldier now. Did they let Volksturm drive Panzers?

That is probably my favorite thing about the DLCs, the excellent map design. They are visually very pleasing.
