L.I.Spanish + Germans?
For the option to field the 1634 combined army, does the Spanish have to come from one particular army (Italy or Flanders) or is it just a matter of matching date and can come from either or both?

The army of the Cardinal Infante in 1634 is classed as army of Flanders (p.12 WoR).
The list writer is crediting you with knowing your history well enough (or to have read the background on p.9) to realise that thats the Army that fought at Nordlingen!

Do know the history...did read the background pages (which mentioned coming from Italy)(hence the question)...had missed the note on p. 12.

muwahahah I on the other hand had noticed it weeks ago. Next time you want to do a 1000+ point bash you can bet that I will be taking the Nordlingen slaughter force for sure
Re: L.I.Spanish + Germans?
Why would you give the heretics an advantage by not fielding a pure Spanish Army?

Seems my original post was snatched away by certain heretic Protestant types
This Saturday an all Spanish force will be making its debut on the table top, led by the famous general Don Bobolio (he was created by Bob Murch for use in his Spanish army many years ago in our DBR days when I was the heretic Dutch) I spent several hours pasting up 16 Tercio flags so my army will at least look very Spanishy, see the AAR section for the heretics response to this
