Do we need to be online....20:00 hours CET may be 8 pm your time but it is 2 pm my time and...my anniversary. I will accept what ever task is put before me the Emperor willing, and will check back in around 22:00 Cet.

Probably a good idea to include the time zone difference from UTC as well, e.g. GMT/UTC+1:00.

For Chris (Batesmotel):

Here's a link for downloading the Bithynian army you'll require.

Hope that works. If not, email me at roots1955 AT live DOT ca

Greetings:

Here's a link to a zip file containing all of the armies to be used in the CotR tournament. Please note that the Kush and Galatian armies are to be installed in your Immortal Fire folder, and all others in the Rise of Rome folder.

Please direct any questions or comments to Demetrios (Klaus), creator of these pre-assembled forces.

The challenge for the second Bythinian battle was set up to only allow armies from the Filed of Glory subset, e.g. normally the MRR(early) and the Later Carthaginian. You need to set up the battle challenges with the army allowed from either any supplement or from the correct one.

Hi Chris.

I understand what you mean, but Tim told me your battle is running fine.

Any additional problem ?

Senator Batesmotel regrets to report to the Senate that the Cilician pirates have routed the pitiful Bythinian forces and their Roman allies in battle. The Bythinian peltasts (average MF, protected, light spear) comprising the majority of the Bythinian troops proved no match for armoured and protected impact foot fielded by the pirates and this resulted in the rout of the Romans as well as their allies. The Bythinian leader died on the battlefield which seemed appropriate for the pitiful forces they fielded. The Roman commander was seen pursuing a slave mob from the field while the remaining Roman forces were succumbing to the pirate hordes.

Well, I am somewhat older than most of you. And to say a I somewhat computer challenged is putting it nicely.

I D/l the COTR armies and thought it would be very easy to just yank the Kush and Galatian armies out and drop them in my IF file and the rest into ROR. However, I can't seem to find the different 'Books' that I have D/L and I am afraid to just start mucking around as then I really would be in a mess. Can one of you guys take pity on an old feller and help me out? I appreciate it. :(

You should have a Documents/Slitherine/FieldOfGlory Armies folder and then the 'books' as sub-directories under there. Took me a while to find them ;)

Resting on my Praetorian laurels is very nice, but should there be an opportunity to further enhance the glory of the Republic, I stand ready.
