But what to do - A&M or R?

Will they each be one big period if it's the Worlds?

Any official word on this?
No official word yet. Expect something very soon however.

I'll take a guess at 2x 15mm themes, one 25mm open. 25mm and one 15mm theme on 6'x4', one 15mm will probably have smaller tables, in the sort of 5'x40" sort of range.

But this is just a wild guess as I have no connection with the BHGS and would not dare alledge that a senior BHGS person was alledged to have said it not that long ago.

Looks like March next year we get to find out the format for Britcon this year.

Would be nice just to have a holding message from someone on the committee, if nothing else is available. I fondly remember the time when BHGS would provide pretty much weekly updates. Now their website is so worthless I can't remember when I last looked at it.

I'm a bit disappointed about the lack of info from organisation of the next Britcon. :(
4 month to go and not any information about format, theme and period...
It's become a bit short to paint a new army or to test an army for an exotic theme.
And the price for the fly begin to raise.....

Just book your flight now Olivier! You know you will come regardless of the details :D
And I'm sure you have many painted armies to chose from.

I am fairly certain the comp will not be 650 pts. Don't know about the themed or open part.

We tried to prise a decision out of the relevant people at the Challenge to no avail :(

All the above is my guesswork only.

But why not? You are such a good general you must test your skill at all levels. The venue is so close to your country. It is simply a matter of honour, monsieur! :D

I hope to see you in the lists!

I know everyone working on the organisation is doing it in the free time and deserves massive credit for all the work done. But I am increasingly irritated (to put it mildly) at the lack of information. Its just not good enough to remain silent. All of want to know whats being offered this year. If theres a problem just let us know - we're a reasonably understanding bunch. But I agree with Olivier - losing time to choose, to paint (if necessary) and practice an army. If it was any event other than Britcon I would probably have scrubbed from my calendar of events by now.

Come on organisers, give us some info. Even if just a holding message.

A more immediate problem is Roll Call (TBC), for which the lists are allegedly due by 23rd April last year. It's a timey-wimey thing

This month.
That was March. April almost gone. May next week. Silence reigns.
