3938 Belgorod Start
-> 2235 after disbanding, upgrading, repairing and buying extra Tigers and a FW190A
I kept two Panzer IIIN.
The first turns are going very well, but I noticed for the first time enemy fighters (Hurricanes) going for my Tigers. They caused -2 damage two times and I found that annoying/alarming. Quite good move of the AI though.
Progress is faster than with the previous core/version and I think this scenario is and will be FINE AS IT IS. Not too difficult, not too easy.

14/17 DV, forgot to conquer Churaevo (sp?) again.
1355 Prestige
The Soviet Airforce was weaker this time, or at least this was my impression. No units lost but Prestige was needed to repair losses. As said above, I think this scenario is absolutely OK. The later ones can and will be harder, after all.

Re: Belgorod 43 V2
Went through this one with a slightly expanded core...another SE tank (Mk IIIL) and an Su-122. Kept same core with only two Tigers. This one went quite well again. I managed to storm across the Donets in SE while driving strongly at Belgorod. The AI made a number of foolish attempts to storm the river despite the establishment of my bridgehead further south. This allowed me to take everything outside of one victory hex (managed a DV in 17-no losses). I think, because of a nearly full complement of troops, this scenario was a little less difficult then the first time I tried (general level). Now for Orel...
Re: Belgorod 43 V2
I thought the difficulty on this one was about right. After 3 marginal victories in Kharkov, I decide to use a cheat code thinking that Belgorod would be impossible if I wasn't over strength. I blasted through it, so decided to go back and replay starting from mostly regular strength (10) and leaving me with about 1300 prestige to begin with. I ended with 450. I think the extra prestige in V2 is good. DV on turn 16.

Re: Belgorod 43 V2
I would like to view some initial deployment's from other folks for the scenario's....trying to go through the GC with out changing difficulty or restarts....the AAR's are extremely helpful...but having trouble with deployment/balance of core/reserves as each scenario starts....am now ready to for Belgorod43..prestige down to 500 or so after last campaign/upgrades....have only two FW190's and two Tigers in current core...
