The french deployed six infantry regiments (two superior), three mounted bgs (heav. Arm Det. Horse, I think), two artillery batteries, one dragoon bg and one light infantry. Their mounted were deployed in the center, as reserves, the light infantry behind vineyards at the center too, and the artillery and dragoons at my right. His infantry regiments were evenly deployed.
I created two groups of detached shot to attack and occupy the vineyards, two tercios at each side of the vineyard and two groups of cuirassiers and the dragoons at my right, with the missions of... capturing his artillery!

Spainsh at the left, french at the right.

Will I be able to capture the enemy artillery again? Let´s go!

Two groups of superior muskets should be able to drive out a group of average light infantry...

Vive la France!

On the right flank both armies advance. Their artillery is exposed but the mounted reserve awaits.

On the left flank, the sight of a Tercio Viejo and cuirassiers advancing without pause break the confidence of the french troops that face them... and flee!

French regiments behind the vineyard redeploy to my right flank. It seems that his strategy is avoiding combat on the left and fight on the right, redeploying his troops, but that make the regiments close to combat uncoordinated. Two of the mounted groups on reserve go to the right too. In the center, my muskets have destroyed his light infantry and also go to the right. My mounted wing gets dangerously close to his artillery, altough it has suffered casualties and loss of cohesion.

At the left the chase continues.

Right flank, a group of french cuisassiers charges and scares away the dragoons threatening their artillery, keeping them safe. My own cuirassiers face the charge.

But my second group of dragoons replaces the first and threaten the artillery again! Altough they are one base down...

Infantry combat is favoring me. I can concentrate a heavy volume of fire against one or two enemy infantry regiments, while they try to reach the front without much room. One of them is destroyed by my fire and others get disrupted.

Two more artillery batteries captured! Six out of six!

The enemy charges, trying to break my lines, the battle is in its climax!

My tercios hold and the attack falters. Another french regiment is broken. Their dragoons are fragmented, my groups of detached mukets fire unmolested from the vineyard, their mounted are about to fall or redeploying, the left flank fleeing regiments have been caught up and turn to fight against more and better quality enemies. If that was not enough, two french generals die on the same turn. Hopeless and on the verge of breaking, they ask for surrender and we knightly accept.

Until that moment I had captured both artillery batteries and had destroyed two regiments of artillery and the light infantry. The dragoons were fragmented, 11 EE out of 13. I had suffered... nothing, none of my groups were fragmented or broken. Great victory, honor and glory for the Spanish Tercios! French had been too cautious and with their redeployment couldn´t reach combat in order so they couldn´t make the most of their advantage in impact, and allowed me to concentrate my fire at leisure and beat them one at a time.
