New activation - Commander: Europe at war

I have purchased CEaW in 2008. No license key, just downloaded it from slitherine.
I have installed it again last week. Of course on a new PC. The game wants new activation key.
Is this forum the only way to communicate with slitherine support with such problems?

Was this purchased through Digital River? We stopped working with DR in Nov 2010.

The only way to reactivate it is to go to DR as we are no longer able to login to DR and reactivate the games unfortunately, since we stopped working with them.

Yes. I can login to findmyorder.com. there I can download the game or view invoice. Nothing more. Should I download it again? I have installed the game from the 2008 download.
Earlier (in 2006) I have bought Dangerous waters from strategyfirst (also through DR). Today this order is no longer available on findmyorder.com. Will the same happen to Europe at War? i had to buy (again) DW. this time on steam

DR are not giving us any support so we are having to fix any issues ourselves now. You coudl try downloading again but I think its likely you need to reactivate the game and only DR support can do that. You could try mailing them and if they do nto help let us know. We will work out some way to get you up and running so there is no need to buy again. I just dont know yet how we're going to do that. Basically if you buy from us once once you buy for life!

OK. I intended to buy Panzer Corps, but had doubts. Now if I can buy for life I will do it I'll wait for Mac version.
