I think I have too many Fighters by now

Let's see how this will turn out.

(Edit: Would have upgraded to FW190F if the "G" would be available earlier, but according to the equipment file it's not available before 6/44. My other beef with the FW-Tacbomber series is that the "F" is rather shite with 12 air attack and that actually the A-8 was the heavily armed FW190 but it wasn't available before 1944 either.)

Just got to turn 6 in Prokhorovka and I use 2 Bf 109G, 3 Fw 190 and 3 Me 410 in addition to an 8.8 and 2 SPAA and am only starting to feel that I might slowly be gaining air superiority there.

General, imported 1942 DLC Beta Core. Prestige on last turn 2361 (I forget what I started with ).

This was very difficult. I probably was a bit too cautious, but there are so many Russians! I was able to get the DV on the last turn. A frontal assault across the Psel was required. If the goal is to simulate what it was like for the Germans, then well done. I'm really starting to hate those SMG infantry. The T-34/43s are very tough to kill too. The Pz IIIs are completely outclassed now. I'll be spending prestige to upgrade them.

I was messing around with this scenario and captured the city in the extreme northeast of the map, Pselets, and obtained a bonus SU-122. I wish the Germans had an equivalent unit, as I have really come to depend on them.

That is why I requested the SU-122 be given art assets to serve as a captured unit, it's pretty unique and very useful. I just wish I had the foresight to also have requested it done for the su-152, ISU-152, and ISU-122 as well, heh.

That would be awesome to have the su/isu 152 in German army skins...especially for what is yet to come.

By the way, I am sure you and your team are already hard at work at DLC 45, and perhaps this is already part of the plan, but I thought it would be cool if there was a series of battles for the streets of Berlin, including some kind of assault on the Reich Chancellory building. The Soviet Army suffered between 350,000 and 600,000 casualties assaulting Berlin. Oh well....what will my core do after the war....

- Lost a Wehrmacht 43 Inf, but captured a Sherman. Replaced with a Tiger.
- Stopped after turn 10 as I only had 107 Prestige left. OK, I bought a Tiger, see above.
- MASSIVE air battle that left many of my fighters crippled on the airfield
- I only made elite reinforcements to some units, but apparently I can't afford ANY elite reinforcements anymore

This scenario is not too hard, the decisive victory is reserved to strong imported cores with tons of prestige. Still I am concerned about the PRESTIGE CHURN. I.e. your units take huge losses, even if they are high quality units and shielded by artillery and flak. This is a MAJOR difference to the early years of the war.

My verdict: Not sure. Would like if other players had trouble with Prestige, too. The map itself is fine.
