The first thing I did was upgrading my SE Pz IIIM to a Tiger since from what I have experienced so far I simply need the punch/staying power. I could only afford to fully reinforce/overstrength all of my aircraft, artillery and the AAA/ATs, most of my non-heavy tanks (Pz IVH/IIIN) stay at 10 STR after normal reinforcements. Starting with 19 prestige.
I will try to play even more conservative this time, due to this I am fielding 10 artillery pieces and 2 AAA here in addition to 5 fighters and 3 Me 410A.
Reached the Polevaya bridge at turn 3 and Kursk at turn 4, in order to bring more firepower to bear I will wait with the heavies (or to be more precise pound any targets of opportunity I come across) in front of Kursk till I have been able to move some forces across the river on the left flank.
I might have missed this one before, but the AI infantry is leaving its positions to the south of the river at Kursk, thus giving my Tigers nice shots vs. the artillery and AAA - IMO they should be immobile and force me to deal with them before they offer me free shots at their most important defensive assets.
The lower number of Soviet aircraft is very much felt IMO, by turn 8 I have crossed the river at Kursk mainly due to the AIs mistakes in exposing its artillery/AAA, but pretty much all of my aircraft were able to take advantage of this (including fighters softening up infantry position instead of them having to deal with Soviet aircraft).
And with the freed up aircraft from Kursk I have been able to force my way across the river at Polevaya as well during turn 9.

More after lunch - but in contrast too the earlier scenarios (which were a tad too hard for me on FM) if this one continues the way it currently does, I think that this one is too easy now.
