Battle generator?

Hi gents,

Will you include in the game a (random) battle generator. That is, you pick your force and your opponent. Then the IA buys the enemy forces, chooses terrain, etc, . and you go then to the deployment/orders phase?

Also, would it be possible to have a campaing generator included? Similar to those Steel Panhters campaign generators out there. You choose your side and pick initial troops. You set begin and end date, max number of battles, and also 3 of many opponents... You fight then tons of battles against the AI expanding and upgrading your army. Any hope of finding something similar?

The game is based around 2 main campaigns. There is no random generator for battles I'm afraid. But you can certainly play online or over a LAN - these game modes allow you to set up custom armies from a starting allocation of resources and then fight on a map of your choosing.

Hi Pip,

Thanks for the response. If you can set h2h battles against a human opponent, why can't you design solitaire battles against hte AI? And what about a battle editor?

Simply a matter of time . There are tons of features which didn't make it into the final product. But these kind of ideas can certainly be taken on board when we look at a sequel
