Excerpt from my email to Joe Rock.

In terms of costs, German losses translated to 305 PP's & 4.1% manpower and UK losses translated to 130 PP's& 2.4% manpower. I've included the average stats to date from 51 samples. With respect to Sitzkrieg, your conquest was almost a month earlier than on average (i.e., full 2 turns), earlier than the historical date by almost a full turn and 62 PP's (or 17%) more efficient than the average with respect to PP's. My UK PP and manpower losses were right on the average (a bit lower). I would have to conclude that your efficiency, which might not be up to your standards (would be up to mine though!), was significantly better than the average.

On an unrelated note were have enough Sitzkrieg samples to draw solid conclusions with respect to Sitzkrieg; however with only 4 Blitzkrieg samples we don't have enough to really draw anything with respect to that strategy. I do wish we had more samples; however, maybe the fact that we have less than a handful of players that have tried this strategy is the significance. That is, Blitzkreig is possible and can produce a faster fall at a higher cost; but appears to be part of a boarded alternate strategy such as Sea Lion or Close the Med.
