Since I will hopefully be done with WC Saga soon I will (next to ME3) put more time into this baby.

I'm not very good though. Good enough to beat the main campaign of PG in normal difficulty, and I've made it to Kiev in General difficulty in PzC so so far, beating Sealion with a turn to spare after try over and over and over

But I still want to improve my playing style to be able to do some MP matches at some point.

And I was wondering how you guys could help me. I don't want MP right away since I want to beat the SP campaigns first and do the grand campaign on General. Or maybe Feldmarschall if I'm good enough by then...

Would a video recording of a scenario be possible and you guys comment on it? Comment my mistakes, suggestions for better tactics?
Also wouldn't it be a good idea to have a subforum where newbies can get experienced players as tutors?

You should post your CORE so people can comment on that. Having a poor CORE force can be a bif problem and fixing that can go a long way towards becoming a better player.

Still, considering how different people's cores are while everybody is pretty sucessful I really doubt that this is the reasony of any problems, unless I screwed something up extremely, which I don't think, since I managed quite well so far. I think it's rather a matter of how I use my units most effectively. Or maybe I let myself get distracted too often or something.
I mean I don't think I'm bad. But I am not as good as some here. In MP I'd probably get my ass whipped

Hate to say it but your problem is your CORE you don't have enough artillery. You should have at least 4 if not 6 artillery units by this time. Your inability to suppress units quickly means you either have to go very slowly or you are taking a lot more damage to your own units than you would normally have to. The ability to suppress units is key to this game. It allows you to finish scenarios faster (mostly because you don't have to waste turns healing your units) and it will save you a LOT of prestige over a campaign. For instance I just finished the DLC 40 with 17825 prestige on Field Marshall. So I am pretty good at saving prestige on the hardest of the normal levels.

Drop two infantry and two tanks and add 4 artillery. That will make the game a lot easier for you. Also consider getting rid of the recon (but that is just personal taste).

Dont be shy of playing MP games. I have played quite a few and been handed my head back to me on a spike. But have also been given some very good tips and feedback on my playing style which have helped me a lot. Special thanks to Deductor on this especially.

I agree more artillery would help, my core seems to have 1 gun for every 4 ground units. My ten infantry units have 4 guns supporting them for example. But unlike, I run less airpower. Even at end of DLC 42, I only have 4 109, 1 210 and 2 Stuka.

Everyones core is different, but as you said, there is a order for cambat, that needs to be done. And dont forget, the more units you get next to a target, the better your odds when attacking.
