Glitches caused by AA

With Anti-aliasing on I get thin double lines and dashes around text both in the start-up screens and in-game.
With Anti-aliasing off the artefacts disappear.
Windows XP, GTS250 with latest Nvidia drivers.

Is this a known issue and is there any solution?

Hmmm - I see the issue. It's being caused because the AA is looking outside of the written texture data for the text (and seeing uninitialised space). I'm hoping to change the way text gets drawn anyway which should solve this issue as a happy side effect, but that update won't be in 1.8, but hopefully in the next update after that.
