ERROR!!!

I have problems with installation Panzer Corps-Beta-v2-DLC5 Constantly shows me an error.

Could not open the uninstall executable for writing

Are you sure you had administrator rights when trying to install the game? This sounds to me like a typical error message about not having sufficient rights to uninstall the previous version. If you have UAC enabled(assuming you are using Windows Vista or 7) it should prompt you to start the installer with admin rights. Answer yes. If you disabled UAC or are using Windows XP make sure the account you are using to install the game has admin rights. If not log in as administrator and try it again. If this doesn't work as well there may be some software interfering with the installation. You may as try to start windows in safe mode, just make sure you log in with admin rights, and try it then.

Hmm this could mean two different things:

1) Your account you are working with under normal mode does not have administrator rights but the one you logged into under save mode did. What's speak against this is the fact that you was able to install the previous version without any problems. Have you made some changed to your computer between installing the old version and trying to install the new one?

or

2) Some software running on your computer was interfering with the installation. It should not happen but you never know with computers. It may be something as harmless as a live scanner of an anti-virus program, some quirks with your Windows installation up to something as vile as a virus. It's not really possible to say without being actually at the computer. This bit of software is not running under safe mode, as this only starts the really necessary bits, so you could install.
