When you release your work you're exposing a little of yourself, in a manner of speaking, publicly to others criticism.
Unfortunately sometimes, this goes a little behind the constructive criticism. But one has to be prepared.
So if you asked if I'm offended by Balck's "commentary", I'm not. In fact it's quite the opposite. He usually like to give his bashing commentaries to everyone. Quite frankly I was admired that he didn't made one yet, about my re-skins.
Now I feel relief, and know that some of my work, might have some quality.
It's still a pity, that his interventions, in threads outside his owns, are always so off-topic and never to help anyone who has doubts. He could have answered the original poster, and give him insights how he work. But no. This kind of behaviour is not natural to him, so... I mean civility.
But let us stop, and go back to our work. Some on paper models and Mr. Spock latex figures, others doing some really awesome non historical accuracy campaigns (to some) and me to my "funny" looking figures.
Please don't go more off-topic.

Hi Paulus,
Ahh ! Help me out - If I understand it correctly ! You can make jokes over my work ("Mr. Spock" quotation ) and I can not say thats funny !!?? Here comments with different measure are probably computed !
Nobody wrote - that this was unfair words, but here - everybody talk something to my little "funny" Expression. You are to - I actually expect an apologe. Thats my last words here.

I have said this before and I will say it again...........ANY Unit Icon made of a decent quality for the game I consider worthy and I am grateful to the creators for them. I keep all of them even though many I will probably never use. But they give me a comfort feeling of "variety" and something new being possible when I play PzC. We should all be grateful to these talented people who create these icons for all of us to use.

There are some interesting sniper icons that have been made and there was a thread about the use of snipers started by me. Since they apparently have little effect on a combat level in PZC as a game, I would like to see them available for purchase to add a contingent of them to any standing infantry unit to give that same unit more lethal killing power. If an infantry unit is a strength 10, with a sniper unit embedded, it could be 11. But the capability to do more damage to an enemy would be enhanced as well as spotting ranges. If your infantry unit loses its strength down to say 5, then obviously the lethal capacity of the snipers in the unit is adversely affected as well. And I now see that PUMA has graciously provided several variations of Mortar teams. So it's time to make Mortar units available (hint hint upstairs).

VPaulus, on those to be issued shotguns in the icons I sent you, Cavalry in particular is effective with shotguns and so are sappers in trenches and thick cover. :)
Old Timer Panzer General fan. Maybe a Volksturm soldier now. Did they let Volksturm drive Panzers?

Well it's better to pick up a chair if you're going to wait for my apologies. "Mr. Spock", that's a private joke between me and some members.
So I guess, it's your final words here.

Ok.
I'll have to lock this thread, it's already too much off-topic.
This could be a nice thread, where people could explain their techniques. But it's not possible... for now.
Beam me up, Scotty!
