Anyway to get how combat actually works? The formula for it?

I am starting to mod the game so I can make 2 week turn based game. I have 25 years wargaming experience and lots of historical and statistical books. I recomments "Why the Allies Won" by Overy and "Brute Force" by Ellis (old book from 1980s I think). Also Ellis puts out a data book on WW2 (very useful)

Per counter ratios
GE, US, UK, FR: 3 divs per corp
USSR, IT: 4-5 divs per corp
Battleships: 2-3 capital ships BB
Destroyers: probably 20-25 per counter
Subs: 20-25 per counter
Fighters: 400 a/c per counter
Tactical: 400 a/c per counter
Strategic: 800 a/c per counter

Map will stay the same but I will add a few cities and adjust production. I will adjust countries for accuracy in production and unit quality.

Modify techs and I am already modifying the counter graphics. I will place up the graphics when done.

I love the game mechanics. Very very nicely done, easy to use and fast to play. I dont seem bogged down by the playability.
