Replay Ability in PBEM?
Is there replay capability in PBEM games? I feel stupid if there is one as I cannot figure it out.

There is not such a feature at this time. They are working on something that will change however:
1) A feature that will work for all human vs. human games is that hidden units that attack do not get FOW on the opposing player's turn. This means you can see enemy aircraft when they attack you. It also means you can see subs even if the convoys moved on your turn, otherwise it is impossible to tell if your convoy was even attacked unless you happen to have a ship nearby or notice the missing units!
2) I believe arrows that show attacks may be included too
Me, I would love replay, but the most critical feature is the FOW issue when I get a PBEM game because I have no idea if I was even attacked sometimes or from where or how!

From the oncoming patch, you will see arrows showing enemy moving paths, battle icons to see where enemy attacked and delayed FoW OFF for enemies that attacked last turn
This improves PBEM and Hotseat significantly especially if you play with FoW ON.

PBEM Replay
From what I've read, the replay provided by the patch is not a full viewing of the other player's turn. If I understand correctly, you do not see his units (the one visible with FOW) moving or the attacks and the results of combat. A full replay is a priority for me so I will wait to see if this is something that a future patch will provide before purchasing the game.

Since subs go invisible (to enemy) as soon as you move them they leave no marks.mrdozer wrote:are sub movement paths suppose to be seen?

since they don't know where you are, try to strike when their ships are out of position. For example, even if they protect the North, if they follow it home they may be out of position when the new one pops up - you can hit it, then get out of dodge. Or, attack with only a couple of subs and leave a couple hidden for them to "run into" which gives you first strike. This works if they use BBs or if the DDs are not teched with ASW too much.
