Wyszogrod in Grand Campaign 39

Post by timt9cole »

I am playing Wyszogrod in Grand Campaign 39. To get a Decisive Victory I need to hold all objectives. On my map these are:
Lowicz 5,19
Kuznocin 10,16
Sochaczew 13.13
Modzieszyn 11,10
Wysogorod 11,7
Vistula River 12,7

I have checked by looking at the full board and holding the space key.

I hold all these but the game is continuing and not stopping for a Decisive victory.
Have I missed something or is there a problem with this battle?

On a separate note - I am finding some of the battles by deliberately going for a marginal victory. Is there somewhere that sets out the campaign route so that I can be sure of playing all the battles?

re the first question: hard to say from here - is one of the objectives maybe occupied by a unit class that can't capture cities, so did all flags changed to yours, have all colors changed to yours in the strategic and minimap?

Other than that I can't imagine what would cause this...

Getting marginal victories does not change your route in the 39 campaign. There is a thread on this page that shows the paths for all of the DLCs.

Capturing all objectives is only half the battle in the Wyszogrod map. Once you capture them all, you must hold them against counterattacks as well.
We tried to convey this through the briefing and the objectives which state: Capture AND Hold all objectives.

Hold all your objectives until the turn count runs out and you should get your decisive victory. :)

Thanks for the reply. I obviously missed that nuance in the objective. I will get stuck in again and play to the full conclusion.

Thanks for the reply. I have found the thread which is very useful. However, it does confirm that in the 39 campaign there are two points where you have to get an MV to get to certain battles. these are Danzig Corridor North and Wyszogrod.
