Medieval Pike Blocks - Halberdiers

Post by ravenflight »

Hi All,

How many Halberdiers should I have in a Medieval Pike Block (Landskechts etc).

I'm thinking of the flankers of the command bases should be armoured halberdiers and the rest should be pike.

Thoughts?

As it won't affect how they fight put on as many as you think looks good/right.

Yeah, that's pretty much the conclusion I've come to, but I also want it to look 'moderately right'.

What proportion of a Medieval Swiss and/or Landsnecht pike formation were actually halberdiers?
