Is DLC 42 still on track for release on January 31?

Is DLC 42 still on track for release on January 31?

Post by Zhivago »

Any delays anticipated with the release of DLC 42? I am on my fourth or fifth run through on DLC 41 and am getting desperate! How about a late Christmas present and releasing it on January 27!!!

There is always the possibility of delay, especially if a problem is found (better to be late with a working product than on-time with a broken one) but as far as I'm aware, we are still on track for a release on January 31st.

4 or 5 times through DLC 41 though eh? That's impressive, and we consider it quite the compliment. ;)
I don't want to say too much about DLC 42 before release, but there are some really awesome scenarios in there. Kharkov '42 is probably one of my favorite campaign scenarios of all time. There's a perfect blend of historical accuracy and strong game play, elements of defensive and offensive actions, and... well all will be revealed soon enough! :D

Pointless post. Did you really think that they would rush this game and risk to release an inferior product and piss off many customers, just to please an impatient random individual like you?

No need to be harsh, Wings. He's just asking and he was just joking a little.
Please, let's be friendly. :)

Will the `42 DLC campaign be accompanied by a new patch too?

I'd think so, I thought it was posted a while ago that this is the usual procedure, so if I understood that correctly we'll get a patch with every DLC.

Of course, the devs have the last word here.

I got all 3 downloads as a Christmas present and am now right at the end of 40, so there's no way I can do 41 in the next few days, so please hold 42 up for a while.

The GC '42 will come with the v1.05 patch. We are not releasing a 1.06 at the moment.

Looking good for a release tomorrow :)
