Blue Screen of Death
Have a periodic crash to Blue Screen when running Commanders on my Windows XP, 512MB RAM, 3.20 GHz Intel Pentium 4 machine. Message reads: Kernal_Data_Inpage_Error. Stop: 0x0000007A (0xC0300190, 0xC0000185, 0xC0064000, 0x006EF884). Please advise.
Re: Blue Screen of Death
just to clarify i think it is not kernal, it maybe kernel that is the central core processor of software, programs, not know what can cause it but sometimes is some failure or incopatibility in the operative system configuration, can however be some problem by the game, just was wanting to clarify that i think you refer to kernel,Caswellon wrote:Have a periodic crash to Blue Screen when running Commanders on my Windows XP, 512MB RAM, 3.20 GHz Intel Pentium 4 machine. Appreciate your comments. Not sure where the problem is as well. Thought it might have something to do with the initial "LOW-RAM" settings, but I have two separate versions of Commander running on different drives. One has a LOW_RAM setting of 1, the other has a setting of 2. Both crash to blue screen.

this could be due to a problem with your page file on your hard disk. I would especially believe this since you are only running with about 512mb RAM. Read this article to perhaps fix your issue.

sorry the previous article only states bad hardware. here is the article that kind of helps you determine the issue through the hex number codes.

I think that might be a mistype, try info@slitherine.co.uk and see if that does the trick...

Following up to my original post on Blue Screen problems. Hopefully its not too soon to call, but since applying the recent patch, I have not experienced a Blue Screen crash.
Additionally, although I'm not sure its related, I was using jack_w's Classic Wargame Map Mod on my un-patched program. Would that have had anything to do with the crashes?
