When comes paypal online again ?

Some Weeks ago i bought Panzer Corps (boxed Version) and I have paid with paypal. Yesterday I was simply trying to do the same thing, but there was no paypal alternative.
Is there a date when this method of payment comes online again?

According to this thread sometime in January but considering we already have the 21st and the thread is a bit older there are maybe some updates on that.

Unfortunately, it doesn't depend on Slitherine/Matrix.
But I'll ask Iain, if Plimus has given more details about this annoyance.
