Based on the hands raised at Austin, it sounds like it will be a big event by US standards.

We could conceivably have forty players. Not sure that has happened before in the US for FOG with the exception of the IWF.

Is there an upper limit - i.e. if I want to go do I have to shout quickly?

I need to run over there and check to see how many tables I can put in the space I have reserved, but I don't think so. Don't worry though, given the distance you are coming you can have my slot if there is an issue.

OK - thanks. I have to sort out some stuff domestically, but hopefully I will have made a decision in the next couple of weeks or so.

Would probably only stay four nights - is there anything fun to do within walking distance of the hotel - I think you mentioned there was a national park nearby?

Within walking distance, not really, but there is tons of stuff within biking distance or short (5-10 minute) car ride. Lexington and Concord, the epicenters of the start of the revolutionary war, are both adjacent. There is another hotel nearby that is adjacent to the Battle Road National Historical Park, but it is a few minutes from the tournament hotel by car.

There is also, BTW, a "Museum of the British" in Lexington...

A few restaurants, a busy road, and at least two graveyards.

You can. Bob Rioux may feel obligated to dump it in the harbor, however.

Just A&M. If someone wants to organize an open for R I'd certainly go.

I'm in! Just bought my plane ticket. Now: which army to bring? Crown of Aragon is always a popular choice. 8)

Can I suggest the much under-rated Foederate Roman? I can even send you a list you might well like :D

I'll be using them as always, but then no one, least of all myself, has any expectations that I'll do well.
