There is just one match that I am concerned about at the moment - and that is the game between Leonidas048 and Tiavals. I have not seen any action on the FOG board and I have had no response from my PM's to both players either as yet. If anyone is in contact with them could you please let them know the competition has started.

All other matchers are now in progress apart from matches 15 and 16 that are still waiting to start. Match 13 is already finished.

Please note: Regarding match 8 - I have arranged for a reserve match to be played between myself, stockwellpete (Papal States Condotta) and RussProv (to notify army) and this will replace the Tiavals v Leonidas match in the first round draw if I do not hear from either player by the time the draw for the second round draw takes place in about a week's time. Should the Tiavalas v Leonidas match be played, or be adjudicated in favour of one of the two players, then the reserve match will be null and void.

The reason for doing this is so that all the first round winners will have an opponent in the second round. Otherwise, one player will possibly not have an opponent and would necessarily have to receive a bye into the quarter-finals - a not very satisfactory arrangement I hope you would all agree.

Hello ive just been informed by a colleague on this site about the start of the tournament. I wasnt aware it had been started, so as im rather new to all this, what should i do and how do i start it? Who decides on what battle to play. I havent heard from my opponent yet! So im all ready now if someone tells me what to do thanks.

Well, heres your line up: 8. Leonidas048 (Alexandrian Macedonians) v Tiavals (Nikephorian Byzantine, later)

Make a 350 AP army of Alexander Macs , post a passworded challenge open to all books, fow and double moves on, and then PM Tiavals the password.(post it here as well for good measure) If all goes well you should soon see him on the battlefield leading his Nikophoreans:) Good luck!

Hello Leonidas. As TGM has said in the previous post your opponent in the first round is Tiavals. All you need to do is issue a challenge in multi-player and complete the following steps - issue DAG challenge - "Game type" is Immortal Fire as you have chosen Alexandrian Macedonians - choose your "Terrain density" - tick the box "Show Army Name" - "Opponent Army" must be From Any Book - tick the box Fog of War - tick the box Double Moves - tick the box Password Protected - choose a simple Password.

Once you have done this post a message on this thread to your opponent as the other players have done giving the password you have chosen. Once you have done this then that is all you need to do.

I have tried to contact your opponent by "Personal Message" (PM) but he has not responded - three days have elapsed since I sent him the message and the PM is still sitting in my outbox which means he has not read it. So now I am going to give him a further 24 hours to contact me - if he does not then I am going to replace him in the tournament with a reserve (either RussProv or myself) because the days are slipping away and the second round draw will be taking place soon. So you should be able to start your game sometime on Thursday.

Game has been accepted but I will be away from Friday evening until Sunday evening.

No turns yet from Petran.

Anyways playing a FOG-TT tournament/doubles and using an Anglo Irish Later combo so we shall see how they fare vs the cav/kn/lh armies.
