Command Bases

Gents,

cracking on with my 28mm Bavarians, Inf mainly done, one question I have is that of command bases. My 15mm stuff based for Napoleon's Battles has Division, Corps and Army/Wing command stands (1/2 and 3-4 figures per base) Will FOG (N) require Command bases based as different levels of command and if so how will this be done, base size or number of figures?

We have seperate commanders on slightly larger bases. these are either 60mm square or 60mm diameter for 25-28mm figures or 40mm square or diameter for 15m figures.

You can place as many figures as you want on the bases, but I go for 3 mounted figures on a Corps Commander base and 2 on a Divisional commander base.
Army commanders for larger battles are also on the same size base, and I use 2 mounted and 2 foot figures to distinguish them.

Some players prefer to use circular bases but I currently use all square bases, however, I am thinking of changing the Corps commanders to circular bases for ease of identification.

I use a larger number of figures on the base to identify the higher level commanders, but an easily identifiable characters would be acceptable.
