Seems one turn too late to me as well. My biggest question though is the pathetic amount of Production the USA has. I know their war effort is low at the beginning, but even maxed out, production seems pretty low. I can only assume the US production is factored into the Convoys to the UK and USSR. At this rate though, and the high UK manpower, it looks like the UK will be the prime player in the war in the west, not the US.

Yes, we abstracted some of it through convoys. USA in fact has very little losses normally so I often see USA land with doussins of Corps on D-Day.

They join in December 1941 on Allied end of turn, but then the date shifts to January and it is Axis turn again. Major countries join end of their side's turn so the enemy moves first on them. Just a technical definition really
