Even with the patch...the Russians are attacking in August of 1940. I should add...I have a pretty solid defensive line along the border...so it's not like they're taking advantage of a weakness. What is triggering this event? None of the potential axis allies have joined yet and I haven't had the Bulgarian/Romanian border issue yet.

Finland and Russia are at war...but the Russians aren't making any progress...not sure if that is impacting anything...

I started another game...and once again in August 1940 Russia attacks. This is becoming very frustrating...

I believe I gave you the link for Vichy.

There is another one for Russia.

If you have that, there still is a small chance for Russian war.

I'm also playing the Finns as Human Control and refused the Russian demands. The Finns seem to be doing a good job at keeping the Russians at bay...this wouldn't by any chance trigger an early Russian entry would it?

I started a new game this morning. It's June 1940 and the Russians appear to be giving-up in Finland and moving troops to the western front...
