Which is better for an AT gun?

Post by jonpfl »

All,

Should I hide him in a forest or let him sit in an open field to force the tank to attack me from a river?

Which is a better scenario?

Thx

I think it depends on the type of gun. If it's towed and is in reach of enemy artillery, then I'd rather not have it in the open. But for an SP gun, behind the river is my preference.

If he attacks me from a river/bridge space, he is going to incur a -4 attack penalty, right?

Kind of...you get a +4 defence and a +4 attack bonus. He doesn't suffer any actual penalty. At leats thats how I recall it working last time I looked at the projection.

The other thing to consider aside from entrenchment is initiative capping...which is something I'm yet to figure out I'll admit
