In my game with supermax he invaded Canada with German forces (most likely this can be seen in his AAR). Before that he managed to take Britain, which reduced the rail capacity of the western Allies to 7.
Luckily for me I have quite an Army in North America. Nevertheless I have quite difficulties to rail them to the invasion spots without overusing my rail capacity extremely.
I always thought that the US had a very good rail network in the 1940s. I'm not 100 % sure about Canada, but a rail capacity of 7 seems rather low, especially if you need to defend North America (which will be rarely the case in most games). You barely rail a MECH and INF with a rail capacity of 7.
Perhaps the rail capacity of the US should be increased a little bit, so the US can at least manage to rail 3-4 Corps per turn.

The problem is that the Allied rail capacity is setup for the size of the railcap in Europe, not in America.
If we had given the Allies the railcap they had in America then the Allied player could rail many corps units in France in 1944. That doesn't seem right.
Ideally you should have had separate rail cap pools on each continent because you couldn't transfer rail cap from one continent to another. At least not in 1939-1945. The tunnel under the English Channel was made only a few decades ago.
So ideally the Allied rail cap could have been increased by 10 if there are Axis forces in Canada or USA. On the other hand, we see such invasions very rarely. Supermax is the only one who has done it in GS v2.1. So do we really want to change the rules regarding something that will most likely not happen at all.
There are many US cities so the Allied player can deploy new units quite close to the Axis invasion area. The main problem, guess, is to rail the US units to Canada to protect the Canadians. I'm not sure if the rail network between USA and Canada was as good as the rail network within USA.
